Study Your Characters Like an Anthropologist

Updated: Oct 8

Plenty of writers dedicate copious amounts of time creating a fully fleshed out profile of their protagonist. But what about the rest of the cast?

Secondary and tertiary characters can often feel a little lackluster or more like "information stations" than living, breathing people.

Pulling from my extensive story knowledge and background in anthropological studies, I have created a system of character creation that's rooted in the world of your story and the events necessary to challenge your protagonist.

This workbook is designed to ask you questions that will not only provide meaningful information about your characters, but help you translate it onto the page to make for characters that feel like a living, breathing part of your story world.
